At Wellstead Primary School we offer both before and after school wrapround care. Our 'Wake-Up Wellstead' Breakfast Club runs Monday to Friday from 7:30am to the start of the school day and our 'Stay and Play' After School Provision runs Monday to Thursday, from the end of the school day until 6pm with the exception of Friday when we close at 5:30pm.

All parents wishing their children to attend these clubs must first complete the 'Extended Day Registration form'

Sessions need to be paid and booked in advance and statements will be issued at the end of each month to show any outstanding balances. Sessions cancelled with less than 7 days notice will still be charged.

Recently, system enhancements have been made to Scopay, one of the benefits of this means parents are now able to book and pay for extended day sessions directly online. 

We hope this will give parents greater control with booking and cancelling sessions and would encourage parents to make use of this new functionality. If you need help with your login details please contact the school office to request a reminder. Booking forms are still available from the school office for any parents not wishing to use the online booking facility.

 Please note:

• Bookings can only be accepted if there are sufficient spaces available.
• Bookings to be made or cancelled within 7 days will still need to be made via the school office.

There are two codes to choose from:

• A – for attendance at a session for the first child
• S – for attendance at a session for siblings – please note this must only be used when the siblings are attending the same session.

We will also be able to accept childcare vouchers as form of payment. We are currently set up to receive vouchers from Busy Bees, Computershare, Care4, Edenred, Fair Care, Fidelity, KiddiVouchers, Linking Up, RG Childcare, Sodexo and tax free childcare vouchers, but we are happy to set up payments with other voucher providers, if you let us know which provider your company uses. If making payment by childcare vouchers, please use the child’s name as the reference for payment.

Before School Provision

Wake-Up Wellstead Breakfast Club

Wake-Up Wellstead Breakfast Club runs Monday to Friday from 7:30am. We are able to provide places for 35 children at a cost of £4.50 per day and £3.50* for each additional sibling. This includes a healthy breakfast and childcare until school starts.

Due to its huge popularity, it is essential that all sessions are booked in advance. 

Only children that have been booked in advance will be accepted into Breakfast Club. 

After School Provision

Stay and Play After School Club

Stay and Play After School Club runs from 3.20pm / 3.30pm each night after school until 6pm Monday to Thursday, it will close at 5.30pm on a Friday. We are able to provide places for 45 children at a cost of £10 per session and £7* for each additional sibling. The session will involve a mix of educational and fun activities, a healthy snack and drink.

Only children that have been booked in advance will be accepted in After School Club
