Please see the attached PDF for an overview of trips, visits and in-school experiences.  We are again sharing this information with you so that you are able to see in advance when you’ll receive a letter asking for a voluntary contribution.  

Due to the nature of booking these experiences, we do need to point out that the costs are as accurate as we can get them right now.  Most of these bookings are confirmed. However, some elements are not fully confirmed yet.  When you do receive the letter about an individual visit, you should expect the cost to be very close to the amount shown in the table. 

Where we do not receive sufficient parental contributions to meet the full cost of a trip or visit, the school will unfortunately need to cancel the activity. The school budget cannot subsidise these experiences without contributions.

For the same reason, we are unable to offer refunds where a pupil has paid but subsequently does not attend, unless we are able to recover the cost from the provider.

We strongly encourage year teams to enrich their teaching with trips and experiences and if an opportunity arises mid year we may introduce another exciting event.  Consideration will be given to value for money and the existing financial outlay in that year group before we make firm commitments.  You will of course be notified in the usual way if this does happen.
